Christ Ahnsahnghong, I thought Jesus was coming with the same name!

In the age of the father, Jehovah God said he would come in the flesh playing the role of a son.  When he came, he came with the name Jesus but at this time only the Old Testament existed.  You cannot find the name Jesus in the Old Testament, the reason why we know Jesus is God, is because he fulfilled all the prophecies.  Through the prophecies we are now able to realize that Jesus Christ is Jehovah God in the flesh. In the bible it is prophesied that Christ will come for a second time.  Most people think that he will come with the same name.  Most of you have seen my previous post talking about Christ Ahnsahnghong and you are probably wondering, where did I get this name from?  Through the scriptures you can clearly see that Christ will come with a new name.

Revelation 3:11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12 Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name. 13 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Jesus Christ said that he is coming soon with a new name.  If I told you that I was going to change my name tomorrow and then the next day you ask me “What’s your new name?” and I tell you the same name, would that make sense?  In the same way, Jesus Christ said he will come with a new name, which means he can come with any name except the name Jesus.

Revelation 2:17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.

Jesus Christ said he would give us a white stone with a new name written on it.  Do you think Jesus is literally going to hand you a white stone with a new name?

white stone

No, let’s see what stone represents in the bible.

Acts 4:10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. 11 He is ” ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.”

The stone in the bible represents Jesus Christ. We can see that Jesus Christ is the stone but God gives us more confirmation because it is a white stone, what does white represent? Clean and pure, who’s the only one that’s pure without sin?  Christ, Jesus Christ will come with a new name.  We can clearly see that the bible testifies that Christ will come with a new name, so we cannot continue to insist that he will come with the name Jesus.
